The number of pornographic content on the internet triggers various filtration systems. Pornographic material detection using image-based filtering techniques have been developed, but scientists are now trying to create a detection technique based on sound.
The sensor with image analysis is quite sophisticated and relatively accurate to differentiate between pornographic images that do not. But scientists at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology believe that their technology can make higher levels of accuracy.
Scientists named Hoirin Kim and MungJon Kim focuses on the audio in pornographic content. They found that the audio pornography in general different from the others and is easy to detect.
They stated that daily conversation has many different tones and change gradually. While pornography is generally high-pitched voice and repetitive.
In the trial is claimed to achieve 93% accuracy level. System is able to distinguish between where the audio porn and what is not.
Possibly, these audio filter systems will be combined with the image sensor system that already exists. Point, among others, to filter out pornographic videos or pop up that displays obscene content.
