Indian Tsunami, Deadliest Tsunami
The Nature once again shows its strength that can never be resisted. The 8.9 Richter earthquake disaster relief followed by tsunami hit Japan on Friday (3/11/2011) shows how powerful the forces of nature.

Nobody wants get a disaster relief, that's for sure. But maybe you want to know, the most destructive Tsunami ever recorded. This is a list of the deadliest Tsunami ever recorded this century.

Chile, February 28, 2010: An earthquake with magnitude 8.8 force followed Tsunami has killed more than 800 people and left 2 million people homeless. Largest number of tsunami victims are those who live in coastal areas.

Pacific Regions, September 30, 2009: There are two earthquakes with magnitude 8.1 and 8.0 magnitude in almost the same time. This situation trigger the Tsunami which crashing Samoa and Tonga. High waves reached 5 meter. Total deaths reached 192 people.

Asia, December 26, 2004: An earthquake with magnitude 9.3 occurred in the Indian Ocean, off the west coast of Aceh with a depth of 10 kilometers. Triggered a tsunami in several Asian and African regions. Called as the worst earthquake in the last 40 years that hit Aceh, North Sumatra, West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, Thailand, the East Coast of India, and Sri Lanka, even to the East Coast of Africa.

Victim to reach about 250,000 people died in eight countries. Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (Indonesia), Sri Lanka, India, and Thailand is a country with the largest number of deaths.

Philippines, August 17, 1976: An earthquake measuring 7.9 Richter scale caused a tsunami that killed more than 5,000 people. The tsunami destroyed almost the entire region and city Pegadian Moro.

Chile, 21-30 May 1960: An earthquake measuring 9.5 magnitude followed Tsunami disaster that crashing several countries in the Pacific Ocean region, including the Philippines and Japan. In Chile, deaths reached 5,700 lives, 61 lives in Hawaii, and 130 lives in Japan.

Soviet Union, November 4, 1952: The earthquake occurred in Kamchatka Peninsula with 9.0 magnitude and cause a powerful Tsunami. The tsunami waves across Pacific to Chile and Peru. More than 2,300 people died.

Japan, March 3, 1933: earthquake centered in Sanriku, Honshu Island, with 8.3 magnitude followed by tsunami that caused more than 3,000 deaths.
