Latest earthquake strength 7.2 on the Richter Scale (SR) shake eastern coast of Japan's main island, Honshu, on Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Japan Meteorological Agency immediately issued a tsunami warning.
According to the Associated Press, the earthquake occurred at 11:45 on Wednesday. Epicenter located 300 km north of Tokyo, off the east coast of Honshu island, with a depth of 10 kilometers.
According to reports the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake is potentially create a tsunami as high as 50 centimeters on Wednesday afternoon. However, until the news was revealed there was no tsunami waves that reached the shore. There are still no reports about the number of victims of the earthquake survivors.
Remember the great earthquake that lead tsunami in asia and cause about 230,000 casualties in 8 countries in 2004. I hope it will not happen in Japan.
