Google Pushed to fight Illegal Download

The rise of websites that facilitate illegal downloading, make google received many complaints, especially those targeting Microsoft products. Increasing piracy was seen in the latest data released by Google.

The purpose of the data release is to provide a better understanding of the intellectual property infringment on the internet. The reports received since July 2011 has asked google to remove content that violates the copyright from their search engine.

Relating to Microsoft, there were more than 2.5 million complaints that ask Google to remove links that violate copyright of the microsoft software. Microsoft itself has long complained of illegal download of their softwar.
